BMOG TRIP TO BINTULU & SUPPORT IN EARTH HOURS

BMOG SUPPORTING THE EART HOURS ON THEIR OUTSIDE BRUNEI ACTIVITY. EVENT TOOK PLACE AT PEACE GARDEN RESTAURANT IN BINTULU, SARAWAK. IT WAS INITIATED AND LEAD BY BMOG VICE PRESIDENT MR HJ BASIR BIN HAMSA. IT STARTED AT 08:30PM TO 09.30PM.

As per BMOG Chairman "Today we had a very great hour, the SO CALLED “EARTH HOUR”. This was just to create an awareness about the present earth condition, problem of global warming. working together, can make a difference on climate change. We are a non-profit group working together to support Earth Hour as well as giving awareness about environment, climate change, and global warming."

The team that involved on this event would like to convey their sincere gratitude and congratulate the Vice President for the successful event in leading BMOG during the convoy to Bintulu. Along with his generous support treating the team with great and delicious Seafood dinner. Everyone had an enjoyable and fun family night which was organised in the Hotel Lobby.

BMOG Weekend gathering @ SERASA & Pantai Kenangan

BMOG members and families gathered at Serasa Beach on Sunday, 14th Mar 2010 organized by Dream Charter & Brunei Mercedes Owner Group (BMOG) in conjunction with 26th National day celebration with the theme of Negaraku Brunei Darussalam.

Team start to gather at Komplex Sukan Mumong at 8.30 a.m. Doa was recite by Hairul before we start the journey.

Almost 20 Mercedes Owner displayed their vintage car collection at Serasa Beach & Pantai Sri Kenangan Tutong. The event was organize by Bohari (BMOG focal point Tutong District), Hj Norahmadi (BMOG organizer) & Rahman (BMOG focal point Brunei Muara).

Guest of honour for the event are the first Bruneian women to go to South Pole, DK Najibah Eradah PAM Al-Sufri which her opening speech supporting the event and encouraging the team to participate in Earth Hour. Dk Najibah also joined the team to sail around Serasa water.

After the event the team proceed to one of the member house to enjoy their home made SOTO. Teams take opportunity resting after spending the whole morning under the hot sun and members also performed Zuhur prayer berjemaah.

After the delicious SOTO break the team proceed to Pantai Sri Kenangan Tutong for another stop before proceed back home.
